Brussels, 19 September 2023: The GVNW Symposium 2023, held in Munich, Germany, from 7-9 September, was a highly anticipated event that revolved around the theme of "Industrial Insurance in Times of Polycrises."
The symposium featured an interesting lineup of experienced and renowned speakers and also offered great networking opportunities and enjoyable social events that allowed attendees to connect and engage.
We have taken three insights home with us:
- There is continued high demand for cyber insurance capacity. As cyber threats continue to evolve, businesses are looking for comprehensive coverage at affordable prices, making this a critical area of concern for insurers and policyholders alike.
- The D&O insurance market is experiencing pressure due to new capacity entering the market, which is impacting rates.
- The industrial sector remains uncertain about macroeconomic risks and potential crises, adding complexity to insurance considerations. In addition, the inflationary environment is putting insurers under cost pressure, further complicating the insurance landscape.
