Claims handling will be a client focused process. Claims handlers will respond quickly to claims’ notices and assist the broker and client rather than take over the claim. Broker and client communication and support throughout the claims handling process are deemed critical.
Highly motivated claims handlers will be recruited with specialist expertise and strong local legal knowledge, who can service brokers and clients in their native languages. They will be empowered to make fast decisions. Claims handlers will receive continued education.
Alta Signa will always act in good faith and honour the intent of the insurance policy. The team will operate in a non-adversarial manner and seek speedy resolutions.
A claims database will be built, that can be deployed for broker and customer education, predictive analytics, risk pricing and the setting of pre-loss risk appetite parameters.
