Brussels, 10 February 2025 – European boutique Managing General Agent (MGA), Alta Signa Europe B.V. (“Alta Signa”), is pleased to announce the appointment of seasoned Cyber Underwriter Audrey Louche to its Cyber Division, further strengthening its capabilities in a market where cyber threats are evolving at an unprecedented pace.
Based in France, Audrey brings extensive expertise in underwriting cyber risks, most recently at Cogitanda, Assurup and Chubb. With a deep understanding of the complex cyber risk landscape - particularly the challenges faced by French SMEs to large-cap companies in navigating an increasingly stringent regulatory environment- she will play a pivotal role in shaping Alta Signa’s close to source Cyber underwriting offering to meet the fast-changing demands of the sector.
Ingo Trede, European Head of Technical Underwriting at Alta Signa, commented:
"Cyber risk is one of the most dynamic and high-stakes areas of insurance today, and businesses - particularly SMEs - are under increasing pressure to stay ahead of ever-more sophisticated threats. Audrey’s experience and forward-thinking approach make her a perfect fit for Alta Signa. We are continuously evolving our Cyber cover to address emerging vulnerabilities, and having a technical expert like Audrey on board will continue to ensure we stay ahead of the curve. We are delighted to welcome her to the team."
Audrey Louche, Underwriter – Cyber at Alta Signa, added:
"Cyber insurance is a business imperative. The frequency and severity of attacks, combined with increasing regulatory scrutiny, mean businesses need cover that is as agile and responsive as the threats they face. I’m thrilled to be joining such a forward-thinking, ambitious, multi-lingual and pan-European team to help grow our Cyber portfolio and improve our Cyber insurance solutions to meet the needs of businesses in France and beyond."
